Ms. Chiang comes to BCS after teaching Mandarin to students at the elementary schoollevel and ESL at the high school level in Boston and New York City.  After completing her B.M. in traditional Chinese medicine from the Guangzhou University in China, she continued her studies in the USA, completing her M.A. in Elementary Education at Boston University and a 2nd M.A. and Certification in TESOL and Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from the Steinhardt School of Education at New York University.

Ms. Chiang believes in providing students with an abundance of learning opportunities through technology, field trips, and curricular integration in disciplines such as health, nutrition, literature, math, and the visual and performing arts. Because of her hard work at her last school, 95% of her students passed the New York State Regents Exam.

In her spare time, Ms. Chiang enjoys origami, Zumba, playing the piano, and kick-boxing.  She is also learning how to play the ukulele!  Ms. Chiang is thrilled to be joining the BCS staff.
